Leader Talent Performance is led by Stephen McCafferty. With more than twenty years business experience gained in senior roles in the public sector, retailing and financial services, Stephen has extensive experience as an HR Director at a FTSE 50 financial services giant, as a Business Psychologist and Executive Coach.

Who we are

Stephen's focus is on helping organisations improve performance by:

Guiding boards and executive teams through transformational change.

Reviewing the effectiveness of senior teams.

Identifying, coaching and developing leaders (see case study).

Putting in place talent management solutions to develop potential and provide future leaders (see case study).

Advising on people related risks.


Stephen is a graduate of Glasgow Caledonian University and has a Master’s degree in occupational psychology from London University. He is an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society and is a Chartered Psychologist. He is a tutor in Leadership, Culture and Change at Herriot Watt University, a regular conference speaker and has written articles on HR and leadership matters. Stephen works with a small group of associates where their input is required on particular projects.
